I was so pleased to receive your message today. I signed up yesterday in search for some good hearted spiritual people to connect with. I didn't stay on the site long enough to learn much about it because of the pain I got when I sit in one place for too long. So I was really surprised and excited to see that you had written to me. I stopped working three years ago due to the overwelming pain in my neck disk C 3-4, C 4-5, C 5-6, my back and carpal tunnel pain. The pain has spread to my entire body since then and I'm having trouble with my vision as well. All of my senses have been affected and my immune system is weak. I do not have any family. I am totally alone as far as support goes and have put my life in God's hands. I've always been a believer but I didn't have a relationship with God. I wasn't reading the bible,going to church, living in his word, or spending time with our father until
I felt his calling for me to seek him and only him. Now I make sure he is first in my life. When I wake up I always thank the Lord for another night where I didn't have to go to sleep cold and hungry and I pray for another day of his guidence,his love and protection from evil that tries to distract us from his glory. I read the bible daily and I talk to him when I take my dogs for a walk. I haven't experienced any miraculous recovery but my heart is growing stronger,I'm learning to except myself, I more clear as to what my purpose is, and he gives me strengh, motivation and I can function phyically because he lifts me up.
I have most of my pain in the morning and it takes a wile to get going. I have to take medication for pain. I do not want to but the pain is too significant without it.
Lisa, do you take anything for pain? What do you do to get relief from pain? I take vitamins. Also, have you had the support of family and friends? I hope we can speak more often. I'm in a fragile time where I could have shelter today and be homeless tomarrow. Financially there isn't any help. I keep trying to keep the faith that God will not let me go homeless or withput food, but we see this type of sufffering in the world everyday.. So I wonder why I would be an exception. If I could just be well enough to be a good mother to my two wonderful children and help others, that would be okay. God Bless You, Angie
